Crochet Bear Hat

Find here a crochet pattern to make a Bear hat and costume

Hi everyone! You will find on this page a Bear Hat and costume Crochet Pattern. My daughter wanted to be a pink bear this year so mommy made a pink bear outfit!  I have been making Halloween costumes for my kids for the last 6 years. But usually, I finished them at the last minute and don’t have the time to write the pattern down. I was slightly more efficient this year, so I take the time to write down the pattern for you!

Don’t forget to join my Facebook group,  you can ask your questions, and share your finished projects. I will regularly ask you what pattern you would like to see next (or you can even suggest something even if I am not asking!).

I hope you will enjoy and understand the pattern. If you have any questions, feel free to write to me, I will try my best to help you. And I would love to see your work!

Pattern: How to crochet a Bear Hat and costume?

The hat – Bear Hat Crochet Pattern.

I made this hat for my 2.5 years old daughter. I think she has a bigger head than the average. Check the size of your hat to make sure it works for your kid too.

I do not join when I make hats because I do not like the visible seam. I just work in rounds without joining.

With a 5.5 mm crochet and the color pink

  • Round 1: start 6 sc in a magic ring. (6)
  • Round 2: [1 inc hdc in all st]. (12)
  • Round 3: [1 hdc, 1 inc] x6. (18)
  • Round 4: [2 hdc, 1 inc] x6. (24)
