Crochet Adult Bunny

Please read the entire pattern before starting.
This pattern is written in US crochet terms.
The bunny is worked mostly in continuous rounds (spiral). Use a stitch marker if needed and stuff as you crochet.
Parts
- Body (legs, body, and head in one piece)
- 2 arms
- 2 ears (or 4 for firmer ears)
- 1 tail
Finished Size (without ears)
- Approx. 3.5 in (9 cm) using worsted yarn
- Approx. 6.5 in (16 cm) using plush yarn

- Worsted or plush yarn in Brown yarn (main color) and a small amount of pink yarn for the nose

Stuff the legs firmly.

Stuff the body.

Using a tapestry needle, weave the yarn through the front loops of the remaining stitches and pull tight to close the head. Secure and weave in ends.
Nose
With 2 strands of pink yarn (or black thread if preferred), embroider a small triangle nose over 2 stitches between Rounds 21 and 22.

Tip:
For firmer, upright ears (recommended for plush yarn), make 4 panels and join 2 panels together for each ear.
For softer ears, make 1 panel per ear.
I used just one panel per ear for the bunny made with worsted-weight yarn, and two panels per ear for the bunny made with plush yarn.
With brown yarn:
- Row 1: ch 11.
- Row 2: starting in the 2nd ch from the hook; 1 sl st, 1 sc, 1 HDC, 4 DC, 1 HDC, 1 sc, 1 sl st. (10)
Fasten off, leaving a long tail.
For firmer ears: place 2 panels together and crochet sc evenly around, fasten off.
Sew the ears to the top of the head over Round 25, spaced by about 5 stitches.
