Crochet Pattern: Little Bunny
Please read the entire pattern before starting.
- Terms: US Crochet Terms
- Finished Size: Approx. 3.5 inches (9 cm) tall
- Skill Level: Beginner/Intermediate
Parts:
- Body (legs/body/head in one piece)
- 2 ears
- 2 arms
- 1 tail
Material:
- Yarn: Worsted-weight yarn in Brown (main color) and a small amount of Pink (for the nose). Optional: Worsted weight in a color of choice for an outfit.
- Size 2.75 mm crochet hook
- 2 black safety eyes (5 mm)
- Stitch markers (if needed)
- Tapestry needle
- Fiberfill stuffing
- For a plush version: you will need plush yarn in brown and a small amount of pink (for the nose), a 5 mm crochet hook and 2 black safety eyes (8 mm). Optional: Plush yarn in a color of choice for an outfit.

How to crochet a little bunny?
Ears (make 2)
- Worked in rows.
With a 2.75 mm crochet and yarn in brown:
- Ch 9
- Row 1: starting in the 2nd ch from the hook: 1 sl st, 1 sc, 1 HDC, 1 DC, 1 DC, 1 HDC, 1 sc, 1 sl st. (8)
Cut the yarn but leave a long tail for sewing.
Thread the yarn tail through the first chain to close the base neatly.
Set aside for later.
Body
Legs
- Worked in continuous rounds (as a spiral). Use a stitch marker if needed.
- Stuff as you go.
– Leg 1:
With a 2.75 mm crochet and brown:
- Round 1: 6 sc in a magic ring. (6). If you use plush yarn: ch2. In the 2nd ch from the hook: 6 sc. (6)
- Rounds 2-4: [1 sc in all st]. (6)
Fasten off. Stuff lightly. Set aside.
– Leg 2:
