Here is a free pattern for a crochet mermaid.
I had to make a last minute birthday gift and I decided to go for a crochet mermaid. I made this mermaid with a 6 mm crochet hook and bulky yarn. No need to say, it works really quickly! Quick to make and big enough to cuddle, this crochet doll was a great gift and everybody loved it.
I hope you will enjoy and understand the pattern. If you have any questions, feel free to write to me. Any comments to improve my patterns are more than welcome! If you make it, please be sure to tag @natalinacraft on social media with the hashtag #natalinacraft, I would love to see your work!

With your tapestry needle and your black yarn, make eyelashes between Rounds 28 and 29 (basically the base of the eyelashes should be between these 2 rounds and the top of the eyelashes should be between Rounds 29 and 30.
Once the eyelashes are done, you can put the safety eyes. I cut two small pieces of felt and put them at the back of the eyes before fixing them (just to make sure the eyes will not come out as the stitches are rather big).
Fill the head with poly-fil.
