Material:
- 1 yarn calling for 5,5 mm hook in grey
- Size 3.5 mm crochet hook
- 3 black safety eyes (6 mm)
- Poly-Fil Fiberfill stuffing
- Stitch markers
- Tapestry needle

Light worsted yarn in grey, 100% acrylic
I used « Stylecraft special aran».
Let’s start!
Head – Amigurumi Seal Pattern
Work in rounds, do not turn unless specified. If needed, use a stitch marker for the first stitch of each round.
With the grey yarn and the 3.5 mm hook
- Round 1: start 6 sc in a magic ring. (6)
- Round 2: inc 6 times. (12)
- Round 3: [1 sc in next st, 1 inc in next st] x6. (18)
- Round 4: [1 sc in next 2 st, 1 inc in next st] x6. (24)
- Round 5: 1 sc in all st. (24)
- Round 6: [1 sc in next 3 st, 1 inc in next st] x6. (30)
- Rounds 7 to 11: 1 sc in all st. (30)
- Round 12: [1 sc in next 3 st, 1 dec in next st] x6. (24)
- Round 13: [1 sc in next 2 st, 1 dec] x6. (18)
- Round 14: 1 sc in all st. (18)
Keep working in rows:
- Row 15: 1 sc in the next 9 st. (9)
- Row 16: ch1, turn ; 1 sc in the next 9 st. (9)
Yarn over and leave a long tail for sewing.
Insert the eyes between rows 7 and 8, spaced by 3 st.
Fill the head with poly-fil.
Muzzle – Amigurumi Seal Pattern
Work in rounds, do not turn unless specified. If needed, use a stitch marker for the first stitch of each round.
With the grey and the 3.5 mm hook
- Round 1: start 6 sc in a magic ring. (6)
- Round 2: [1 sc in next st, 1 inc in next st] x6. (9)
- Round 3: [1 sc in next 2 st, 1 inc in next st] x3. (12)
- Round 4: 1 sc in all st. (12)
sl st, cut the yarn (leave a long tail for sewing).
Place a safety eye on row 2 for the nose as shown in the picture.
fill the muzzle and sew it to the head as shown in the picture below.
Tail and body – Amigurumi Seal Pattern
Work in rounds, do not turn unless specified. If needed, use a stitch marker for the first stitch of each round.
With the grey and the 3.5 mm hook.
We are starting by the tail. It is made of 2 joined parts.
Make part 1 :
- Round 1: start 4 sc in a magic ring. (4)
- Round 2: [1 sc in next st, 1 inc in next st] x2. (6)
- Round 3: [1 sc in next st, 1 inc in next st] x3. (9)
- Round 4: 1 sc in all st. (9)
- Round 5: [1 sc in next st, 1 dec] x3. (6)
Cut the yarn.
Make another part exactly like you just did but do not cut the yarn! The part is called part 2. And keep working as follow:
- Round 6: [1 sc in next 3 st (from part 2) ; take part 1 and make 1 sc in the 6 sc ; 1 sc in the next 3 st from part 2]. (12)
- Round 7: 1 sc in all st. (12)
- Round 8: [1 sc in next st, 1 inc in next st] x6. (18)
- Round 9: 1 sc in all st. (18)
- Round 10: [1 sc in next 2 st, 1 inc in next st] x6. (24)
- Rounds 11 to 14: 1 sc in all st. (24)
- Round 15: [1 sc in next 3 st, 1 inc in next st] x6. (30)
- Rounds 16 to 19: 1 sc in all st. (30)

cut the yarn, fill and close the body.
Sew the head to the body as shown below.
