- Yarn calling for a 5.5 mm hook in cream and brown; and a very small amount of pink for the cheeks.

- 2 black safety eyes (4.5 mm)
- Stitch markers (if needed)
- Tapestry needle
- poly-fill

- chain (ch)

Mini crochet coffee cup
Help for Jeri: Sorry for the quality of the pictures, it is late and the light is not good.
Let’s say I just finished Round 9 (I did less Rounds and less stitches for these pictures to go faster but let’s say it is Round 9 with 18 st). I now want to put a stitch marker in the BLO of Round 9 that I jut made before to start with round 10. It is just the help to find this loop later. The yellow stitch is the marker
- Round 9: [1 sc in all st]. (18). NB: place a stitch marker in the BLO of the first st of the round.
Now you want to keep working in round 10. For this round, we will work only in FLO all around.
- Round 10: working in FLO [1 sc in all st]. (18). End this round by a sl st. Cut the yarn and fasten off.
It will look like that at the end of the round.
Now you are finished with the cream yarn and you want to do the coffee part. The coffee part will be added to Round 9, to the BLO. Join the brown yarn in the BLO with the stitch marker and keep working as follow:
- Round 11: working in BLO: [1 sc, 1 dec] x6. (12).
All the sc of round 11 should be made in the BLO of round 9.
I made a few tiny tea and coffee mugs over the years and love making them for who ever asks for them. Been told I should make a bunch and sell them but I don’t crochet to make money, I do it because I love it plus I don’t want to get tied down to having to make the same thing over and over because people see something they like and that’s what they want, I like to create original as much as possible. this mug is really adored. I am going to pin it to give me more ideas. Thank You!
Hi Debbie, Thank you for your message. I totally understand about making the same item over and over. I do not think I would enjoy it neither. Thnak you for your nice words. I am glag you like the little mug.
round 9: [1 sc in all st]. (18). NB: place a stitch marker in the BLO of the first st of the round.
what does the NB mean
NB means nota bene, meaning “note well.”
the only blo round is in rnd 4 which is to early to make the brown, please make a video on this cup it is to confusing after round 8
rnd 9 is confusing is there a video to watch plz
Hi, no sorry, I don’t have any videos. If you scroll down a little, you will see a picture of round 9 with a stitch marker (I used a strand of yellow yarn). This is just to find easily the first stitch of round 9 as you will have to join the brown yarn (for the coffee part) in this stitch. Does it make more sense?
i saw all that but there is not a blo except rnd 4
i have the reat of the breakfast done just the cup is confusing
ty for your time
Hi Jeri, I cannot make a video tonight but I added some pictures to try to help you. Check at the end of the post. Let me know if it helps.
