With the tapestry needle and the pink yarn, make 2 little dots for the cheeks between rounds 6 and 7.

Fill the head.

Fill the body as you go.

With your tapestry needle, close the body and fasten off.

We are now adding a row in the front loop of round 19. This will allow your doll to stand up. You can skip this step if you don’t want it to stand up.

Join the brown yarn in any front loop of Round 19 (I would suggest joining in a loop in the back so it won’t be too visible).

  • Round 21: working in the front loop only (flo): [1 sc, 1 inc] x6. (18)

Finish with a slip stitch in the first st of round 21 and fasten off.

With a 3.5 mm crochet and white yarn.

Cut the yarn but leave a long tail for sewing the hair to the head. With pin needles, place the hair on the head and sew it.

Add 2 small buttons or a little bow to the chest/neck of your Mini Gingerbread man. You can use any color of yarn and make a little cross as a button.

You can place your mini Gingerbread man in a DIY ornament or a snow globe. You can glue it to the bottom (I preferred to attach mine with velcro) and add some fake snow, glitter pebbles, and tiny ornaments.
